The Bike Cave is the on-campus bike shop and workspace. We get people on bikes, whether they need a new bike or just a tune-up.
Out Workspace
Our workspace has tools, parts, and trained mechanics to help you maintain or repair your bike. We offer parts, safety accessories, and services for sale. We also have free flat repairs and free air. Come use our space, use our tools, and meet other bike riders!

Our Services
The Bike Cave gets you on a bike and keeps you there. Come use our self-serve workstations, or pay a student bike tech to do it for you.
Self Service/DIY
If you know how to work on your bike, the Bike Cave has the tools and workspace you need. If you want to learn, the Bike Cave technicians can teach you. Use of the tools, workspace, and teaching is free. If you need parts like a tube, we sell them at a low cost.
Paid Service
Our staff can work on your bike at an hourly rate, just like a commercial bike shop. This is a great option for people who are busy studying or a little unsure about attempting a complicated repair. However, unlike a regular bike shop, you must stick around while the service is performed.

Alex
Alex Vogt is a Central Texas native and lifelong bike rider. As the Alternative Transportation Coordinator, he is very happy to promote biking as transportation and recreation.
Adam
Adam is a senior at Texas State University majoring in Electrical Engineering. He's worked at the Bike Cave for over a year.
